اگر حداقل از نسخه 20.6 بسته bidi و نسخه 17.1 بسته xepersian استفاده می‌کنید، این مشکل حل شده است.
مشکل به خاطر یک اشتباه تایپی در فایل bidi.dtx (فایل سورس بسته bidi است) که به دلیل وجود داشتن % اضافه یک خط مهم در فایل fancyhdr-xetex-bidi.def حذف شده است. مشکل در نسخه بعدی بسته bidi حل خواهد شد.
برای روشنتر شدن مشکل، فایل کمینه زیر نیز مشکل را نشان می‌دهد
